so my mom surprised me today with a package of Oreos. i was so excited that i opened it up and ate one without even waiting for milk to be poured!
eventually i poured a glass and dunked one in there. i ate it and it was crunchy.
so i thought 'i must've not kept it in the milk long enough, i'll try again'
so i tried again
...and it was crunchy
so i thought 'well, maybe that was just a weird Oreo, i'll try again'
guess what.
crunchy!
what the shit is this? a new Oreo?? did they change the recipe? well the front of the package didn't indicate anything!
well, let me try one more...
crunchy.
so i turned the package over and immediately assessed the trans fat situation since Oreos are notorious for having trans fat.
well, my friends, not anymore.
oreos are free of trans fat.
see before, i would have dipped 2 or 3 oreos and i would have been satisfied. with out trans fat i ate 5 oreos! i didn't even get to the level of mooshyness that i like!
mooshyness > transfat.

last week i took this:
out from the public library.
i saw it and immediately thought: "amazing find, nicole!!"
well think again, bitch.
i suppose in the back of my mind i had hopes that it'd be awesome. but instead it was some guy with a shaky hand taping various pictures/business card having to do with port washington in the 1950s. i watched the entire thing anyway- the guy talking was pretty funny because he kept making fun of everyone's yearbook pictures. then towards the end they showed some actual footage of main street and that was rad to see. they showed the corner of main street and port blvd and there was a short and chubby woman crossing guard directing traffic! some things never change.
